Airplane Multiengine Land (AMEL)

The Additional Class Rating Airplane Multiengine Land (AMEL) flight training syllabus is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of 14 CFR Part 141, Appendix I.  Its design will allow an appropriately rated Private or Commercial Pilot student to acquire the proficiency and experience needed to meet the certification requirements for adding a U.S. FAA Multiengine Land class rating (Airplane) to an existing Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate (ASEL).  The performance criteria specified in the syllabus are based on the current FAA Private or Commercial Pilot (AMEL) Practical Test Standards.  All enrolled students of this course must meet these standards before graduation from this course.
