Private Pilot Certification (ASEL)
This
flight training syllabus contains three (3) stages and includes a total
of thirty seven (37) separate lessons. Each lesson includes an
objective and a completion standard. Each completion standard must be
met in its entirety before that lesson may be considered complete. The
individual lesson and stage times are not mandatory and are included at
the top of each lesson for flight instructor and student guidance only.
However, before graduation from the course, a student must meet the
following minimum training hours:
Enrollment Prerequisites: The applicant must hold a current Student Pilot certificate and a Third Class medical certificate prior to beginning the flight portion of the course. Prior to completing the Private Pilot Certification Course (ASEL), the applicant must meet at least the minimum hourly requirements as specified above. The applicant must be at least 16 years of age to complete any solo flight lessons. The applicant must complete the required Private Pilot Certification (ASEL) ground training course prior to the end of course test. Ground training may be accomplished separately or concurrently.
