Private Pilot

This course prepares the student for the Private Pilot Certificate and introduces the student to flight training by providing dual flight instruction. Maneuvers include takeoffs and landings, solo flight and cross‐country flight, flight maneuvers, navigation and emergency operations.
Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a Private Pilot Certificate.

In conjunction with the flight training portion of this course, the student will receive ground training in preparation for the Private Pilot Written Examination. Topics include principles of flight, regulations, visual flight rules, aircraft systems and performance, meteorology, navigation, aviation physiology and flight planning.

Flight Training

  • 36 hours: Single Engine Primary (including 5 hours solo)
  • 26 hours: Ground Lessons

Ground School
